EP and Enron, perfect together. All Hail Pink Hail Hail Hail

Storm cuts 550-600 mmcfd US Gulf gas supply on FGT

NEW YORK, Sept 24 (Reuters) - U.S. Gulf of Mexico producers cut up to 600 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd) of natural gas supply on the Florida Gas Transmission pipeline system due to Tropical Storm Isidore, a company spokeswoman said Tuesday.

The FGT system, with a capacity of more than 1.95 billion cubic feet per day, transports gas from Texas to Florida and interconnects with several major interstate pipelines.

FGT is jointly owned by Enron Corp. <ENRNQ.PK> and El Paso Corp. <EP.N> and operated by Enron.

The storm triggered further evacuations of Gulf oil and gas platforms Tuesday, forcing producers to cut more than 4 bcfd from key pipeline systems feeding the eastern half of the nation.

At 2 p.m. EDT, Isidore was over open water about 85 miles north of Merida on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, moving north at 5 miles per hour. The storm was packing winds of 60 mph and expected to strengthen over the next 24 hours.

I'm celebrating with you Mr. Pink, if only vicariously.
It appears you to be the only sage remaining, so I must kiss your ass with no abandon.
