Dear Richie: How do you measure the man. Are you thinking Clinton had something to do with the economy? If so you dont realize the limits a President has on such things. The BEST thing you could argue is that Clinton did nothing to screw up a cycle that was started way back in the Reagan years, gained momentum due to the "peace" dividend and hit high gear right in Clintons time in office. It would have been the same if a MONKEY were in charge then so long as he did nothing. Actually Clinton TRIED to screw that up too by passing his huge tax increase but by then the momentum was so strong it was unstoppable. What a President CAN DO is provide leadership to the World, moral backbone and fiber to a country and general direction. IMHO Clinton failed on all accounts. jdn
