I haven't tried frying at home yet but perhaps it's worth it As a single person I used to cook for myself on most occasions. I had a high pressure job and found it therapeutic, and (cost wise) it sure beats seeing a shrink. Eating out can then just be for social reasons. Nowadays, the kitchen is "out of bounds" as I have a wife, and only occasionally allowed access. Can't beat a home made burger grilled on the BBQ either. Lean meat, onions, some Worcestershire sauce, an egg plus a little salt and pepper (you need a plastic burger press).... The deep fryer comes in handy for the fries, some baked beans and salad, a glass of wine, and a toast to "down with the USA" and hey!... a happy evening -g- The USA taught me how to make coffee too. Something the general population of the UK has not fully learnt yet -g- news.bbc.co.uk
