Technically, telling someone your eyes are blue when they are brown is a lie. If the reason for the lie is to help the other person, it might be a white lie. Now is it ok to tell a white lie? A person really keeping on top of their morality and well being would steer clear of a lie at costs. But telling the truth can also get you in trouble as in telling everyone that you think brown eyes are undesirable. I have brown eyes, and might find it offensive that you would put blue contacts to cover brown eyes. You better lie to make me feel better and just say you have blue eyes.
