Ted, that was partially my point. Al Gore has been calling Washington his home for eight years starting in 1993. It's rather appropriate, too, given how much of a career politician Gore is.

Not that this is very different than the company around Bush, but you get the drift. The people running the show in Washington are nothing but a bunch of insiders. Their sole purpose is to preserve the way things are for their own benefit. The whole concept of "representing the entire U.S." is a sham, partially because we all know that with such a divided electorate, that's practically impossible.
