Walker,

I'm surprised you can even crawl. I may have been born at night, but it wasn't last night. Apparently you were.

Re: Does stopping Saddam make Bush a tyrant or a saint?

It makes him one of the most cynical liars on the planet. Look at what his Poppy was engaged in:

IRAQGATE: NY Times Wm. Safire on the criminal conspiracy in the G.H.W. Bush administration to subvert export regimes and prop up Saddan Hussein. Investigation eventually suppressed by pardon of Sec. of Def. Weinburger, among other maneuvers.: (Archival: Publication date 18 May 1992)
security-policy.org
ALSO: Henry Gonzales amazing speech laying out the utter deceit of the U.S. realpolitik sales of arms to Iraq during the GHW Bush reign, this is long, comprehensive and completely damning.........
fas.org

I'm not convinced you have half a clue on how to actually read. But please force yourself to at least get through the Safire piece. The Gonzales salvo may be above your IQ, so don't fret it. Just imagine that you a fool being led blindly by people who are willfully lying to you at all times. Then you will understand what the Bush Mal-Administration is all about. Good luck with your remedial reading.

All the best, Ray

I agree. While prior restraint is not the ideal solution in the context of a lawful society, sovereign nations do not exist in such a society.

For the same reason that dictators like Saddam Hussein are allowed to terrorize their captive citizenry while the world stands by and does nothing, we are allowed to protect our own interests while the world stands by and does nothing.

What gives us the right to preempt this mad man? The right that God gives us to do the right thing regardless of the law, world opinion, or the opinion of one radical writer for the sake of "peace" who would have allowed Hitler to rule the world.

this is a scary statement.
can you rewrite it please?
