Joe,

Don't turn around, that shadow looks like a danger to me.
You seem to have an extremely loose grasp of the danger presented by even the most horrendous of terrorist incidents.

Comparables:

On September 11, 2001 over 35,000 people died of starvation worldwide.

Since then over 12,000 Americans have died at the hands of other Americans using guns.

Since then over 350,000 Americans have died of diseases related to obesity or smoking.

Since then over 30,000 Americans have died in automobile crashes.

Since then no American has died of shark bites.

So, logically what do Americans fear most out of this list?

Of course it's terrorism and sharks.

Are we a confederacy of dunces? Or just very bad at statistics?

Just wondering, Ray
