The channel WAS slowly being adjusted down so that over 15 years, the normal range had dropped from 6 to 5.(Growth outperforms value over many many years on average as you say.) I expected it to keep going and it did, but bulls(me), needed to realize that the burst to 2 was way, way out of line.

Off the charts depressed. An extraordinary level of risk avoidance.
