I have however visited the German concentration camp of Dachau. Everyday around 6 pm the town sounds a bell to remember the thousands killed/gassed and burned in the ovens. The old people there still talk of the odd smell that would creep across the town. They know now that that smell was the smell of burning flesh. If you don't believe that happened then you should go and talk to the old people of Dachau.
