I just had a very interesting conversation with Schwab when I called to get some answers. He said that what they are seeing, is a return to basics, and their customers are evaluating the fundamentals, rather than buying every IPO about which they hear. FYI! Westi

Hi Jay, thanks for laying out strategies. Here's something for all of us(*): "Triangulation of tradeoffs. First, there is the need for the United States to purge its post-bubble excesses; second, there is the imperative for the rest of the world to wean itself from excessive dependence on the U.S. economy; third, there is the need for global policy makers to avoid the deflationary abyss."
