Michael, a suggestion. Please check out the Hussman Strategic Growth Fund (HSGFX). You will see that no responsible advisor could advise against investing in it. Then use it as a test... suggest it and see what this advisor responds. This is a good way to find out whether he's driven primarily by ego and/or commissions rather than your best interests. ============ Hussman seems to have found a very successful low-beta hedging strategy.
