Press just asked Bush if he was Politicizing the war. "He said Eveything is different since 9/11., two oceans don't protect us, yada yada yada. Looks like press is on it finally.

It might turn out that letting Bush be the first to go "political" on Iraq will help Daschle and Gephardt. Who would have thought it?

It certainly makes mincemeat of their complaints that Gore was political.

But as Bush continues his record-setting fundraising effort, he has shown an eagerness to discuss the topic [national secutity, Iraq] in political venues as polls show the effort is aiding Republican candidates.

You don't suppose he might be talking about it because he thinks it's terrifically important since 3000 of his citizens were murdered in one morning?

By the way, the economy is improving.
