So what do you think?

I think that by the time '04 rolls around, Iraq will be over. A Democratic candidate starts out weak on Foreign Affairs, in the same way that a Republican is weak on Domestic, The Dems will need a "Scoop Jackson" type to have a chance. 9/11 will be a major factor. If the Dems were foolish enough to run a Dove like Mondale, etc, they would get slaughtered.

A Dove would energize your base in the Northeast, but the Southern Primaries will carry the day for a Dem, as they have in the past. They are Hawkish down there.
