Future car message:

ERROR, you can not roll down your windows until your car has come to a complete stop and you have turned off your car. Afterwards, you may turn on your car, at which point your windows should be working in a normal fashion.

We're sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for being a Microsoft customer!

Cary, LOL! BMW has a new car that's loaded with geeky electronics and the criticism was that the learning curve is too steep. So, yes - they're getting there.

G.

RE: "As easy as driving a car."

eventually we will have heads up night vision windshields...

All the important info will be "heads up"... than you can switch on the rear camera for backing into parking spaces and not the car behind you...

I can just see the "blue screen of death" just as you are about to do something critical on heads-up....

Ultimately, the cars will drive themselves and you will watch your soap operas or have teleconferences using the heads up windshields as your cars drive themselves to their destinations.

Good market for GPS, collision avoidance radar, all sorts of vision and projection electronics... yadda... and people think AMAT is not a good buy!
