One thing I'm watching here is the VIX. Now remember, I'm expecting a low on Oct 4-7th, so you know I'm not bullish, but that sure doesn't look like a chart that's screaming for higher prices (and I use prices as a relative thing). I realize the VIX doesn't always work the way one thinks (news spikes plus when it starts going up, it can feed on itself, etc), but that chart fills me with a little caution.

That said, one can also view it as a lack of fear and a need to buy the bottom (though the put call is not overly exuberant today). Anyway, just one more thing to watch, and if someone has a different take on that chart, let me know.
