I assure you there is no conspiracy at Intel to "manipulate public opinion" through SI web-posts. What a ridiculous waste of time that would be. Well....I agree that while there probably is no organization within Intel to manipulate SI, there has been a de facto effort by former Intel employees, Intel contractors, and current Intel employees to do just that. It is clear that multiple aliases (some used interchangeably by different individuals) were used by these people in an attempt to manipulate public opinion. Do you agree that using multiple aliases is an attempt to manipulate public opinion and is grounds for immediate permanent suspension from SI and furthermore would be strongly discouraged by Intel (the company) if it knew any of its employees were practicing it on investment threads? I have a theory that people who believe in conspiracy theories have an over-inflated sense of self-importance. They are sure that others are "out to get them" when the truth is that others just don't give a hoot. It feels a lot less lonely to think that you are "worth getting" than to admit that no one is interested. Well...sorry.... but I don't think psychiatry is your forte. I enjoyed Paul's posts and am sorry to see he's gone depsite the fact that he could at times be too eager to mock, insult or degrade people with differing opinions. If you filter the BS out, there was real entertainment value and some good information. The key is to not take chat rooms on the web too seriously. This concept that his behavior should be tolerated and "filtered out" to get to the real "information" is just total bullsh*t.
