Lorne, Like the article.... "And when I make the statement: "will the real Islam please stand up" I am obviously being facetious. Because it already has." All of us have a choice, 1) have to accept both facets of Islam, 2) accept none of it, or 3) accept a cleaned up, revised version ONLY. Lets disect them... Option 1, in my opinion, is unacceptable. Otherwise 9/11, and much more will have to be accepted, and the future will hold much worse. Option 2, no matter how appealing to many, is to radical. Option 3 seems to be the only viable solution. But of course, the cleansing must come from within. Otherwise, you will have a holy war. And that does not seem to be happening from the non-radical Muslims. And a cleansing of the religion is against Islamic fundamentals. So really, if the Muslims don't clean it up, option 2 might be the only option, no matter how radical! Because if we choose 1, 9/11 is only the start of something much worse! So come on Muslim world, rise up against your radical brethren, clean up your religion and scripture, and let the world be a much safer place! Otherwise, the alternative, you might not like!
