I think if we can get in the range of "unfettered access" to "full cooperation", there should be some consensus.

But right now, you have the conservatives at one end of the spectrum (wanting to oust Saddam) to the liberals at the other end (wanting to forget he exists).

I once felt that if our country were ever attacked, it was natural for everyone to pull together the way they did during WWII. I now realize that this is no longer the case. There are those who really are unwilling of how rare a commodity the freedom we have is. As a result, they're unwilling to fight for it.
