Daschle is fine.......he's from the Dakotas. They speak directly and without guile, and they have to be pretty upset to lose it like he did today. His constituents will understand.....he made them proud. Or, could it be that he is not up for re-election this time? It doesn't matter whether he is or isn't. Come Dec. he will be the Senator from South Dakota. And all the snipes directed at him by the Reps. don't change the fact that they aren't good enough to shine his shoes. ted
