You're exactly right, Ron. Did you by any chance catch Dick Armey on Chris Matthews' "Hardball" tonight in front of a packed audience of students at George Mason University? Very informative -- and entertaining. Armey attributed the ascendency of Bill Clinton in '92 to plain ol' luck. Bush 41 had his problems, Clinton's primary competitors fell by the wayside, and lo and behold, Clinton found himself in the White House. Oftentimes we look for deep answers when things are the way they are because of a flip of the coin.
