Frank, they used to talk about that but I haven't heard anything recently (remember BLECs?). They did sell a unit to the Javitz Center in NY but that's the last sale of that type that I recall. I think what happened is all of their CLEC customers/prospects died or went onto life support a couple of years ago. At that point NHC realized that the ILEC market was the ONLY one that would enable them to survive. The single catch being that there is a 2-year sales cycle in the big leagues. The good news is that during that time BLS has worked closely with NHC to implement the flow-through provisioning technology that is being introduced in the 3.0 version of the software (end of the month). These capabilities now mesh exactly with the ILEC requirements since they guided the development. Could be a significant barrier to entry to the others. Apparently NHC is the only AMDF to get through the FOA process with any of the ILECs. The key differentiators that seem to be putting NHC in the front of the pack are scalability and OSS integration. I'll keep posting as events warrant. According to the conference call this morning, NHC believes that Verizon's budget for 2003 will make them "very happy". That would be good.

Frank - an update on NHC is available at the Dlouhy web site. Basically, he confirms that VZ intends to automate at least 1,000 COs and that the orders from BLS are expected to start coming in shortly. Short-term cash is an issue but expected that financing should be available given the order flow. Cheers...
