Oh, well, I thought you were talking about something new.

You see, dear Eric...the Ruskies were set upon by the IMF several years back---YES THE SAME IMF SET UP IN THE BRETTON WOODS CURRENCY ACCORD post ww2 in order to rebuild Europe and re-juice 53 nations' signatories "local" economies...

....Russia was set upon by the IMF to either start saving back the gold they'd been flipping for grain for several years (I remember well the great "gold sell" chart pattern in the cash market that portended the 1980's grain sales back when I was a commodity broker for Heinhold/Chicago.....

...and Russia was supposed to not only start saving back their national gold but save it in order to collateralize their IMF funding requests...it was a staged rebuild plan...

OR you won't get any IMF loan guarantees.

It works like this:

"You Ruskies save up this much gold per annum and we'll get the American taxpayer's to fork over this much IMF monies to help you rebuild after the cold war...

Then next year, you Ruskies save up last year's gold PLUS s'more and we'll let you dip into the IMF sugar-bowl again...and again at US tax payers largess...."

Then ole Clive and Bema gets into the pix with their latest ruskie boondoogle du jour

Nothing like sending over a HOLLOW GOLD Trojan horse named Clive Johnson, eh? With frien's like us...which Russian bureaucrat needs enemies???

I'm outta here...I've got to get ready to go show one of my prospector club contacts their new mining property which I've just sold them...
