Most Israeli-Arabs are thankful that they live in Israel. They enjoy the freedoms of Democracy, and a much higher standard of living, than most other Arabs. Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East, and the Palestinians, living in Israel, are willing to sacrifice their lives to insure that Israel survives. Rami Mahamid is a man (age 17) of courage and conviction, which reflects positively on his entire family. I hope that his family is safe from any harm that could come from the other rabid Palestinians.
