Well I hoped it helped to get that off your chest. A definite opinion expressed. Haw! At one time I read the Dialogues closely. I found the character Socrates repellent. I think it horrible to imagine an undergraduate class run by him. Grad students would be another matter. They can defend themselves. From the whiff of the reading list we got from the story, I expect West will give his students a very good experience. Hell of a course topic, evil. I envy the kids. Folk don't take it seriously enough. Where on the evil spectrum sits suicide committed out of spite?
