If it wasn't for my last 2 quarters, I'd be applyin' to be a portfolio mgr. Up till May, I had beaten the market in every quarter but one, even though I rarely short.

I had a brief fling at it as the trader for an investment club, managing $65K.... but my 90 day trial period was in the Sept-Dec 2001 market, when NASDAQ fell 44%. I gained 4% in that 90 days, but nobody 'cept me was satisfied with it.

However, the last 2 quarters, my timing's been worse than an old Renault.
