Bruce, it's outrageous isn't it? The media is so full of themselves and apparently thinks that everyone buys into the "spins" they invent to increase or hold ratings. I've said many times that I think the producers sit around the night before (and minutes before sometimes) to try to figure out how to best get and hold viewer's attention for the coming day. They want ratings and advertising dollars. That's at least 90% of what drive them. If the stories are boring they stretch, reach, and get creative, which often makes them looks visibly stupid or at time manipulative.
