Mucho, as you probably expected <g>, I disagree with you.

Changing the rules of the game (basketball, tennis, etc), just because one or two players are more physically gifted, seems kind of ridiculous to me. Your forgot, that Shaq did not win anything before he had improved his game. Yes, he can't make FTs. He lacks this skill. However, basketball requires more skills, than just making your FTs. Shaq has added different kinds of shots (hook, turnaround j, midrange j), he runs the court very well, he is a great defensive player, and he understands the game: timing, various game situations, moving without the ball, passing, etc... much better now. He'll probably dominate the game anyway.

Damn... all this coming from a Celtics fan <gg>...

BTW, if Mavericks could play any D, it's possible that they may have given the Lakers fits...

Similar for tennis. This sport is fine as it is... Serving is a skill, as well as "to go get the ball" for all-courters, or playing close to the net...
