Yea they might miss 3 month old guidance on total revenues, but if they improve on the .04 cent loss related to operating entities and the .08 related to DSE's I will be much happier than if they exceeded revenues and did not continue the move to profitability.

The net loss of $0.23 cents per share is detailed as follows: Operational Entities contributed $0.04 cents to the net loss per share compared with $0.07 per share in the prior quarter; Development Stage Enterprises contributed $0.08 cents to the net loss per share compared with $0.10 per share in the prior quarter; Non-cash transactions, deferred stock compensation expense and amortization of intangibles contributed $0.09 to the net loss per share compared with $0.10 per share in the prior quarter, while asset impairments on investments and MRV's share in related investment losses contributed $0.02 to the net loss per share compared with $0.11 per share in the prior quarter.))

Look...about what we expected. At least he announced what he should have. I do not consider the company's performance a dramatic change from what was forecast. Actually, not too bad given the status of the demand for products within their niche.

Now, about those 3 million shares management might have bought...quite another matter.

beat ya by a minute! btw, that's a nice announcement, but they probably could have made this statement -the company expects a decrease in net loss compared to last quarter- a little clearer (for the non-financial types and those that don't want to go back to last qtr's report). either way, a good announcement.
