i think it is too early for an ODOD but MO should be a nice oversold buy at some point in the next month, they lowered their guidance due to a fairly weak fourth quarter but still expect 8 to 10% growth next year and are now trading at a P/E of about 9 (after hours price)...even in the fourth quarter they still expect to make .60 or so which isn't great but is by no means a disaster, especially if they can limit most of the damage to that quarter, i'm sure they will take that quarter to "clear the decks" so to speak and get a fresh start for 2003

with a yield approaching 7% on the AH price and a dividend that is relatively safe, the stock should attract some yield and value players especially if it gets to the low 30's

there are always the litigation concerns but the fact remains that people who smoke will by and large continue to smoke and the rest of their business is quite solid as well, a blip down for a quarter is probably a great opportunity for the long haul and will also probably provide an excellent trading opportunity once it bottoms
