Israel Saved From Other Terrorist Attacks An apparent car bomb was nipped in the bud this afternoon. Kol Rina News Agency reports that at Sheva Junction in the northern Shomron, citizens alerted soldiers to the presence of a suspicious vehicle. Military sappers arrived, inspected the vehicle, and blew it up. The tremendous explosion that resulted led to the conclusion that the car contained dozens of kilograms of explosives. It was released for publication today that a major terrorist attack was thwarted in Jerusalem two days ago. It will be recalled that a high alert was declared in the city at the time, and police checkpoints were established at the capital's entrances.
