The last Israeli spy there was publicly hanged some thirty years ago, and he only had two hands and a short waves radio.

That's always going to be a mystery but I have one of those wild hunches that it wasn't the Iraqis who shot him, maybe the Israelis

Debkafile speculates it was the Palestinians, with the help of Iraqis. Abu Nidal may have been able to link SH with Al Qaeda, and some of the terrorist acts. I do not wholly trust Debka, but I think that may make more sense than it being Israelis.
