today is the day ..... an end to my daily sojurns to the big city .... finished or not completed or not final day I'm tired yesterday afternoon, the danged ceramic wet saw burned out with less than two dozen tile to be laid/cut one of the grunt hands walked right through the fresh stain on the mexican tile ... took three hours to straighten out that mess trash folks have informed me I'll have to haul off the ten or so boxes of debris ... their boss has said .. no mas on the building materials trash and it will fill up my 6x10 trailer to bring all my tools and stuff back my hired hands have rebelled .... as in Tues one out Wed two of four were absent Thurs three of three were not available (was able to find one replacement at 5am) today have been able to cajole only one so .. thass it too dang far for them even though I'm furnishing hot lunches and all the beer they want for the two plus hour trip back home ..... as far as peasant genes goes ... I def am a peasant --- so I guess my kids are doomed as I've passed those genes along ... all my buddies are catching fish to beat hell and here I am working my butt off for free .... pitiful were I a bottled water drinking man, I think I'd change brands
