Lithography tools have the longest delivery times. The rest of the industry's stock has been responding to order predictions, while ASML has been announcing shipments. It is not surprising that the falloff in orders reported by most of the industry in H2 2002 is reflected in shipments by ASML in H1 2003. 78 in H1 2002, 100 in H2 2002, and 85-100 in H1 2003 demonstrate the ASML lag.
