But you are right. Kelly's contract is bad. But the runner's up contracts are the ones that are really terrible. They tour the country making numerous TV appearances, selling tons of tickets and millions in advertising. . .and nearly all monies go to the producers and directors of the show. And unlike Kelly, when this tour ends and the next Idol show begins, they are left with nothing. . . much like the runners up in the Survivor series.
