Not all politicians. We've had our share, like GWB, who are also crooks.

Certainly they do, BCB.

They gladly donate their - and our - freedoms in place of taking responsibility for their actions. In fact, many of them speak of "freedom," but readily assert that we're all part of some interlocked community (national or global) in which I am somehow in debt to others; I, and you, and everyone - for some reason - are for whatever reason obligated to socially and economically subsidize the stupidity and misfortune of strangers.

They feign sophistication, and are among the first to resort to namecalling and personal attacks; they represent themselves as intellecual and balanced, and yet quote almost exclusively from obscure conspiratorial or pseudoscience websites that read suspiciously more like editorials or satire than "news."

And - in my favorite of the multitude of ironies - while they preach antimaterialism and denounce "greed," their most frequent complaints and concerns focus almost exclusively on financial issues!

LOL!
