I think it's best for Harkin to simply state that Conley was an invited guest. The GHP should just take their lumps for being dunderheads in inviting anyone to join them.

I'm now regretting that I've tossed all the GHP solicitations I've received in the past. I'd love to attend this sort of meeting with a tape recorder.

This just points up the fact that the GHP needs secrecy because they are so slimy.
