Yeah, I think people are more apt to get a male cat neutered than a dog. Although when you consider that millions of dogs are euthanized every single year at shelters you'd think people would.

My across the street neighbors get a new dog every other year. In the nine years I've lived here, five of their dogs have gotten hit by cars. It never occurs to them to train the dogs not to go on the road. Many times I've come down the road to see the dog laying out in the middle. I'm starting to think these people are so awful that their dogs want to commit suicide. They also have a completely unchecked cat population which tries to come over and live here.
