Clinton may have interfered with Olympics
(New York-AP) -- Olympic officials want to know if Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton improperly discussed New York City's Olympic bid with an Olympic official.

The U.S. Olympic Committee is probing a September sixth meeting between Clinton and Anita DeFrantz, who has publicly stated that she discussed New York City's bid with Clinton.

A Clinton spokeswoman denies any wrongdoing by the Democratic senator.

She says she's not aware of "any constraints on senators when it comes to promoting their states."

Details of the investigation surfaced a day after the U.S.-O-C said it was looking into whether comments Mayor Michael Bloomberg made during a recent trip to Greece violated similar rules.

New York and San Francisco are the U.S. finalists for the 2012 Summer Olympics. The U.S.-O-C will choose between the two on November second.

Clinton has made himself into a bad joke (not unexpected by anyone). Carter and Ford seem to be trying to imitate him. They are a couple of idiots in their own right.

Outstanding presidents are few and far between. Post WWII, we have had Reagan, Nixon, and now Bush. America has been lucky at times, but solid ideals and diligent preparation for war are the ingredients of good luck.

Puff Daschle sold his soul to the devil, backing the Senate's Marxist/Leninist left for a shot at the presidency, and at the same time virtually destroying any chance he had to get re-elected in S. Dakota in 2004. Gore, always a good panderer to the treason crowd no matter how badly it hurts him, has run to Daschle's left. Daschle is now a total loser career-wise, having even blown the Dem's chances of holding the Senate, much less taking the House, in 2002. Puff is a sharp enough politician to realize all this, which is why you saw him whining and crying and spitting in Bush's direction on the Senate floor the other day. He is quite forgettable, and will quickly BE forgotten...
