Bob, what's worse is not to sell MRVC at the clear and obvious double top at 80 (post split) around Labor Day 2000. Why? Because I didn't want to pay the taxes!!

And besides, as I told my son when he suggested that it might be time to sell, "but they haven't even started shipping their new high-end products yet!".

And of course they still haven't. Some here think they will, eventually. I'm not so sure. By the time the market turns, those with deep pockets will move smartly ahead on advances in technology. While MRV struggles to manage to pay the $60 some odd million on the converts.

Sorry to sound bitter. I just miss signist and thought somebody should take his place. Whose last 79 posts on SI were entirely on this message board, from June to November, 2001.
