The 34-year-old, British-educated king picked out his bride-to-be, Nolicha Ntenteza, during a traditional reed dance festival in southern Swaziland.
Mswati can chose a new wife every year from among thousands of virgins who parade at annual dance ceremonies.
He chose a 17-year-old as his 9th wife last year.
Offical biographers say Mswati's father had more than 125 wives by the time he died.
