Uh oh, somebody stop them....

Hello JW's worst case scenario...

12:02 (Dow Jones) Economists at Goldman Sachs looking for a rather
aggressive Fed easing of 50-100 basis points by early 2003 to target a 1%
Fed
funds rate. Senior economist John Youngdahl says data next week are likely
to
be moribund, with a weak employment picture prompting the Fed to take
"powerful" action in coming months. "We just felt it would take some time
for
evidence of economic difficulty to show up, but believe it will." That kind
of
thinking to keep bid in Treasuries, despite bouts of consolidation. (KJZ)
