This is too funny...I can't believe your post seems to support MY viewpoint. The Liberals have never pretended to support states rights as you so aptly pointed out.The point is the Republicans have claimed to be supporters of states rights but only when it suited their agenda. But Nowwww in Oregon they oppose states rights as Bush and his nutcase of an excuse for an Attorney General ( who is wuz clearly appointed as a reward to the RR for getting Bush the nomination ) do not want the state of Oregon to have this particular law.This is how you spell HYPOCRITE.

BTW any freedom loving American would fear and hate a man who would use the power of Government to shove his own brand morality down their throats .

In CA and OR, however, Ashcroft interferes with states' rights. That's mucking with the Constitution. Do you like that? I sure don't.
