I enjoyed Maher's show too. What's ironic is that although he set out to be "[p]olitically incorrect," he was largely met with a yawn by the viewing public until the post-Sept 11th comments. Then again, coming on at midnight here on the East Coast didn't help, either. I suppose the most Galtean echoes I've heard yet have come in the form of several large firms suggesting that they might move their businesses offshore to avoid Philistine regulations and tax codes. Nothing would make my decade like a credible Ballmer ultimatim to the Antitrust folks at the DoJ. Something to the effect of: lay off, or we're taking Mister Softy up the road north about two hundred miles. LPS5, eh?
