The big action involves tons of positions being closed out totally.

This is my WAG although I haven't read anything about it...

I wonder if JPM has closed a good portion of it's derivative book. Supposedly if their stock remained under $20, they would be called on to do so.

That is the only reason I could think of as to why large commercial hedges would be closed completely.

Then again a lot of this COT stuff remains a mystery to me...
