Surely not - there's a great deal more to be uncovered in the vicinity of this mine - why else do you think it's a marekt leader?

I wouldn't worry too much about the future growth of Goldcorp.

No doubt the plan is to increase production with either a new mine shaft or an underground mill. Thing is currently 100% of Goldcorps production is from the high grade zone right now. Overlooked is that they have quite a large untouched reserve of sulphide type gold mineralization outside the high grade zone. That gold will cost more to get out of the ground but will still be very profitable. Add the fact that the high grade zone is showing no signs of petering out at depth and Goldcorp will be able to increase production even if they stopped exploring right now.

Goldcorp (and my favorite little junior play Rupert Resources) definitely, IMO, own the best prime underexplored/unexplored real estate in the Red Lake area. Plus Goldcorp is quite cash rich and looking to take over or co-partner with any promising junior plays. The "2nd Internet Goldrush" sponsored by Goldcorp shows they looking farther a field that just Red Lake.

New exploration update should be soon!
