FYI >>Intel chipset liquidation should not impact Nvidia, ATI Tech - SG Cowen : SG Cowen in a pre-open note said that according to a Digitimes article, INTC has liquidated about 1 mln 845 chipsets at a 50% discount and also plans to sell an additional 4.5 mln 845 chipsets to local motherboard makers by year-end 2002; however, firm does not expect cheaper 845G chipsets (which integrate graphics chip) to impact shipments of standalone graphics chipsets and thus do not expect an impact on NVDA or ATYT. <<
