Sarge, you are ignoring the possibility that there is actually hard evidence that he has damaged shareholders.

I agree that many people kept Doug's flames alive by responding to him, and trying to turn him therefore justifying his position.

But, it still doesn't take away from the fact that his activity on the threads has done 2 things.

1) Kept the price artificially down, therefore affecting the portfolio value of long shareholders.
2) Scared away any new investors that found Doug's actions here, just too intense to be ignored. If their DD was scarce, the threads would have scared them off.

It doesn't matter what excuse you give it, these two things happened. Doug essentially got off easy with the TT suit. He did pay something, but not enough to ruin him. (he is still around) Instead of backing off, he kept at it. Now he got to the point where he pissed off some people who want to crucify him. And they probably will.

He went out of his way looking for problems. Like looking for trouble with a candle in the darkness of night.
