The personal stuff that Saddam and his crew engage in seems to have happened. I mentioned, a couple of weeks ago, of reading about torture that the Egyptian Secret Police has engaged in against the Muslim Brotherhood that was so stomach turning I could not post it here. Michael, Let me caution you about, again, about unverified stuff on the Internet. We are entering a season of that stuff. Perhaps we should start a thread policy that if one posts these stories, s/he needs to offer an argument for their validity and stand ready to defend it. Perhaps that would cut down the free floating character of many of them. As for the stories of torture of the Brotherhood in Egpyt, the recent story in The New Yorker carried a good bit of that. Perhaps that's the verifiable source for some of it.
