Israel happens to be an colonial apartheid regime occupying a nation.

Israel, created by the U.N. has internationally recognized borders (67).

Israel is colonizing areas OUTSIDE of those borders, in actions which have been declared by the same U.N. to be illegal. The illegal Israeli settlements, are recognized by no other nation.

Israel is occupying a people who are not Israeli citizens in areas outside of Israel's internationlly recognized borders.

Inside Israel, there is a second class of citizens, Arabs whose rights are constricted. Apartheid which is not sustainable in the long run. Funny, for not long ago, there was even debate inside Israel as to whether put into legal writing restrictions on the rights of Arabs to live where they want to live inside Israel - but those restriction, (in force in practice) would merely highlight the apartheid features of the Israeli system, not change it.

Firstly, if Jewish Settlement is Colonial occupation that means you think that Israel is a Colonial Host country.
Please name the country that is the Colony.

What is this childish and incompetent game? You can colonize a territory, regardless of its legal status in some foreign office. The Brits, the French and colonizers the world over have colonized territories in Africa and elsewhere which they did not recognize as being "countries". What is this semantic game supposed to prove? Israel colonized the areas outside of its internationally recognized borders and occupied the native people.

We can debate ad infinitum definitions, but semantic word games will make no difference, for you can call the ILLEGAL occupation anything you want, call it a BANANA. The Arabs will not accept the BANANA, or the colonization and occupation of their land.

The treatment meted out to Palestinians, whatever terms you may dress it in, are felt by the victims just as acutely no matter the terms, and that treatment will come back to haunt Israel for a very long time. The longer this lasts, the worse it will be. Perhaps it is too late already.

This is the crux of the problem.
