Ah, so now you wish to defend a sleep deprived, coffee hyped, Derek, just trying to stay awake by typing one liners on the Internet. :-)

I was having fun with his one line generalizations. He took it to the general case. Dropped all reference to international events.

Moreover, if he was serious, even partially, to defend the Bush preemption policy as an "inherent" right of self defense, with no source citation is more than a bit much. If he wishes to refer to the UN as a source citation, then he cedes the UN the right to decide when "self defense" is justified.
